You might be right - I guess Slot will have a look at them in preseason.

McConnell was injured earlier in the season and played in the FA Cup final- I mean if Endo & Harvey could barely get off the bench, no chance he was going to be involved.

Nyoni didn’t get a look in outside of FA Cup either.

I have a feeling Badger is gone, in the sense he doesn’t want to be at the club anymore - not really based on anything and I hope I’m wrong.

I wonder if the links to Barca last season turned his head a little bit.

Surely they were free to talk too him from that start of this year?
Though I know they have probably tapped him up at least a year ago

They were free to talk to him from 1 January. They started talking to him a LONG time before that.
Hard to prove, if we threatened them they'd pay us off. It's what we did with Spurs / Robbie Keane. Little chance of success, massive consequences if proven = smallish settlement. No way they pay us €5m just to get a few extra games out of Trent.
