Chiesa was cheap because Juve was desperate to sell, omitted him from pre-season traning camp, and he had a year left on his deal. None of that applies this time around. As for Nunez, his numbers are still reasonable for a lot of clubs and the market is crazy.

There's no reason we need to sell to Napoli. I am sure we can get the player to agree to go to Saudi. We agree to Saudis offer and then the player and club talk. Money talks. Napoli are not going to win the CL anytime soon.

Guehi is a “wait and see” - we’re likely being the cunts we accused Real of being over Trent - player can wait and join in a free next season - unless there’s a realistic deal around the £30m to be made.
Napoli are trying to lowball us for Nunez & Chiesa - tell them to politely fuck off - it’s matter of waiting to see who else gets involved looking for players this - no need to cave in at the first sign of an offer here.
I don’t think Gomez is going and Robbonis entirely up to him, but we should not let him go on a free - he can do that next season.
Quansah is likely gone - so we’ll need a backup CB - but we have time to work that out - maybe Collins at Brentford is a good choice as we have a good relationship with Brentford, maybe someone else will drop onto the radar.

I think we'll try to sign a striker and then other signings will be replacements. I just can't see us having paid 115m for Wirtz with the intention of playing false 9. It would be such a mad gamble.
