Liverpool related transfer speculation

Its a bit weird. Otte has only been there a year but I don't think he was Slots decision.

Taff seems like a real mentor for Ali, think him leaving is more strange and concerning.

We worry about the amount of churn among the players but the Academy and first team have seen a huge number of coaching changes too.
It definitely needs more discussion. Bidding farewell to the GK department, why is that?

They are bringing Xavi Valero back who was part of Rafa's team.

For U21 have appointed former Wales national team manager Rob Page.

The U18 coach role is yet to be filled.

I saw a clip of Goldbridge talking about homegrown players for us. Where are we on that, are we going to struggle with the likes of Trent and Kelleher gone?
I think we are +1 for non-HG at the moment. However with Nunez and maybe more departing we'll be under the maximum.

Meh they're all mid-range.
The best talents have mainly come from Stockholm and Malmö these past few years.

Stockholm:
Isak
Kulusevski
Bergwall
Gyökeres
Mellberg

Malmö-ish:
Hugo Larsson
Barhaji

Its for all of Scandinavia though. We have loads of loads of talent coming through.

Mis-read, still I guess my point is Elfsborg talents have been meh...
But hey, let's hope he manages to unearth some gems.

What about the new kid City signed?

Totally agree, this is not the right move, they have been brilliant considering we have had Ali, and Kelleher doing well. I do not get this decision.

Yeah, I really do not trust this Slot, one PL and he is turning the place upside down the silly ....

Its a lot less concerning with Valero coming in.

I'm guessing this is the data nerds hiring and firing, not Slot, who is only Head Coach.

So hopefully there's sound reasoning behind it.

I don't know anything but why is it assumed that we've fired him? He's been here a while, maybe he wants the move? Wouldn't be surprised to see him working with Brazil, it's a world cup year, but if I've missed something do tell cos I'd like to know.

Fringpong is also homegrown due to his time in City's academy

Looks pretty routine to me. Xavi Valero is returning as a coach.
I remember someone telling me that post-season can get quite tetchy at the training ground. If there are issues between coaches, they generally put them to one side and pull together while the season is on, but it then goes pretty mental in post-season with loads of sackings etc. That shit would normally go down late May / early June. It's 2 July. Player / coach deals usually run to 30 June so this just feels like a few people's deals have expired and they've not been retained, possibly their choice, possibly Slot's. But it all feels pretty normal to me, just ordinary staff turnover.
