Conor Gallagher available from what ive read. Thoughts on this?. I think he would fit in well here, good ball winning/box to box midfielder, loads of energy, workrate, decent pace. I do think we are a bit short on this type of player in the midfield. Klopp was linked with him at some point.

Way off in my opinion. FSG doing a pretty decent job. Their planning will have been thrown off by Jota’s sad passing but so far so good.
We can’t buy players for Newcastle, it really is up to them. Palace will eventually come to the table as they are on record as needing to sell Guehi and he knows he can sit it out for us

Based on what we are seeing - none of this is good enough, we are being cut through, if we were planning to get Guehi, Isak and one other winger - then forget the "one other winger" - just drop £100M to Palace for Guehi and Wharton, and get Isak - that completes us as a team for the next 5 years for fucks sake. We need a Wharton/Baleba/Camavinga type now not next season.
Not sure £100m will do it. Do we have £100m and plus Isak? I would trade CJ + Elliot +£20m for Wharton and Guehi but a CDM is not in the planning
Well all the talk about us also going in to get the likes of Rodrygo etc ? - if Wharton can be got for 70M GBP then we should be all over that now (like today). That is money better spent on what we actually need more of than a winger (if we get Isak).
Mate, I know as much as you. Hughes and Edwards are trying to sign Guehi and Isak thats all I can tell you. Even if we don't get them this window we have enough of a squad to be top or there abouts by Jan.

Alot of the times we get hit onthe counter, so is being more compact after a 2 goal cushion the solution? We have 6 new players to the 1st team, integrating 6 players no easy task, not saying adding a FWD, CDM, and CB isn't needed but integrating them is a challenge still whilst competing.
