Danns tore his hamstring while taking a free-kick in an U21 game on Saturday, had to leave on a stretcher… I think at this point we have to give up any notion of him as a future LFC player - his body clearly can’t hold up to the demands of the game. So unfortunate because the talent is there.

Another promising youth player who will miss such a critial part of his career. I fear the same has happened to Bajcetic, and we probably won't know for another 2 years whether its the same for Leoni too (giving him time to recover, get into some competitive football and see if he can stand up to the pressures)
