City given a VAR penalty, for me an example of VAR going wrong, it was handball, but very harsh to be given. This will intensify Citys VAR agenda.

I've been optimistic for ages, but even I don't think we'll see the best of him until next season, he's still struggling a bit with the pace of the game here & the aggression, also his pace isn't quite good enough to make the same runs we saw in Germany, but I'm more than confident Klopp can use the talent he has & all the other attributes to adapt his game enough to make him a key part of the side, cos he has a lovely eye for a pass, can dribble well with it, likes driving forwards, his attacking positioning is very good, he's very good at tackling when he's stood up against someone (so that pace issue I mentioned doesn't come into play) & clearly can add goals from midfield with a decent shot.
Yep, you know I'm right there with you mate!

I adore how Salah tracks back on a break away. He's lazy when defending in standard play, but on a break away to the opposition, he's superb.

Lovely Salah, helluva player. Don't see many strikers getting back like that.

TAA isn't on his game tonight at all yet.

Dare I say, a Spurs goal is coming, they are overrunning Fernandinho and looking very dangerous.

I think that's due to instruction, if he tracked back whenever the other side attacked he'd be too far back to counter a lot of the time or too tired to break when we do counter, plus that stretching of their lines we thrive on doesn't happen.
