Loic Remy celebrates scoring for Newcastle
Loic Remy's £8.5million move from Queens Park Rangers to Liverpool has collapsed.
The France striker was expected to be unveiled as Brendan Rodgers' latest summer signing but the Reds have pulled out of the transfer at the 11th hour.
Liverpool FC have refused to comment on why the deal won't be completed but it is believed to be related to a problem with his medical.

Remy, who scored 14 goals on loan at Newcastle last season, flew to Boston last week to link up with the squad on their tour of America after the Reds triggered the release clause in his contract.

Personal terms were agreed and he was set to be handed the iconic No 7 shirt left vacant following Luis Suarez's move to Barcelona.
The 27-year-old underwent the usual medical tests before going to New York after the club granted him a few days off.
Anfield sources put the delay in announcing his signing down to a minor paperwork issue but it appears that Liverpool were in fact seeking a second opinion over a medical issue.
On the back of that advice they took the decision not to proceed with the transfer.
The ECHO understands there is no chance of the Remy deal being resurrected and Rodgers will now look at other striking targets.

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday ECHO, Gerard Houllier had told Alex Rea that Remy would have been an ideal signing for the Reds.

This is annoying. He would've been a good signing.

Cue him never getting injured again in his life now.

you see , if it's his heart then i don't get it . surely they should know if he can play or not . and what do they expect to happen in future , if something bad could happen then should the lad even be playing ?

You have to wonder how he's been successfully moving to QPR then on loan to Newcastle, getting through medicals okay and failing in ours. If it is a heart issue, surely nobody should be taking him.
