Ha he's doing his best to get a new contract eh?

As many assists (3) in his last 5 games as he had in the previous 163.

More importantly assists in winning goals in tight games where creativity was at a premium.

Yet again today he stepped up especially so when our talisman went off injured.

Hate him all you like but in a period where a lot of players have gone off the boil, lacked courage s and mental strength Lucas has really delievered.

He'll never be a world beater but he's playing very well and if everyone was playing to the same level of their own ability we'd be smashing teams.

I hope he gets a new contract 🙂
 
He was good again today. In our last 4 games hes been top 3 players 3 times.
But the other time he was VERY Lucas.

I'd imagine we will allow him to leave out of contract so he can get a whopping sign on fee somewhere warm - after 10 seasons it is only right regardless of how much I rate him
 
He played a good ball to Can but let's be real, that was a special strike from Emre.
 
He has stepped it up. But we need better long term - how long we saying that for. Can see gini as the long term squad filler to replace Lucas
 
He keeps surprising us. Last week he showed, in his speech at his 'ten years at LFC party,' an ability to filibuster not seen since Jimmy Stewart dragged it out in Mr Smith Goes to Washington. This week he sets up a goal. On Sunday, Lucas, mate, score a screamer.

Absolutely. Disagree about your suggestion regarding Wijnaldum as Lucas replacement.

Not In same position. But more a squad option. Pace is important as dm . He has played well of late. Purple patch for a new contract

The move players out to create space for the no8 to run into. Obviously he's meant meant to take it down and either lay it off for a teammate running through or turn and shoot.

He went for option C, the good old Bob option of stick it in the net and discuss the options after
