I agree with this, I never understood the fools who thought he should be playing instead of Johnson a few years back, it's embarrassing. If he wasn't from Liverpool people wouldn't rate him nearly as high.

Yep you asked the question, but you didn't dare suggest they were bandwagon jumpers, yet you went straight for the jugular with me despite the fact i've held this opinion for a long time. You were just posting an easy attack on my post to try and look smart and witty without actually knowing what you were talking about, it's annoying. Maybe in future if you're going to post such things you should actually get your facts straight first.

How many titles did G. Neville win with Scum?
Was he a wing wizard with mesmerising skills?
Did he have Alonso-esque passing ability and vision?

He was good for them because of his willingness to overlap at every opportunity and being solid at the back.
Kelly was defensively suspect in the last game but so was the rest of the squad, Skrtel and Carra falling on their arses and letting players clean through being just two incidents of many.
He's got tons of room for improvement but as it stands, again, he's the least of our worries.

I remember Flanagan was ostracized after his poor showing last season in the opening game. I hope the same doesn't happen to Kelly because he is a good player and can do a whole lot better. But in saying that I don't think he was the worst performer on Saturday. In my opinion, our supposedly best players let us down - Skrtel, Gerrard, Suarez. If they don't turn up then we're always going to have problems and Gerrard hasn't done that for while now for Liverpool.

Yer'see, no one's saying he's shit, yet you drop a minor criticism in here and everyone thinks it's just another cunt who's terribly lambasting a poor innocent wee player. I'm not, he's not looked that great in my eyes for a while and has looked positionally suspect, I am fully prepared to acknowledged that he's also looked very good on occasion too and that he is a very young lad with alot to learn and a lot of potential too. It's not about one game, it's not about finding a scapegoat, it's not about laying into someone coz this is 6cm and that's what's done around these parts, I wasn't pissed either.

It's just a minor point. I appreciate that I've pulled up every negative twat under The Lying Rag of late, but that's for posting hysterical ramblings at any given opportunity for the sake of it. This was just a bit of a musing observation, he can do better. I hope that's clear enough for everyone and that people actually read the fucking point instead of jumping on it as just another poster having a moan - it's not. It was meant to stir debate, not the cyber defensive line.
