De zerbi, like potter before, seems to be part of the Brighton curse.

Rice has been game changer signing for them, ever present and able to get vital goals. Was worth every penny. Pity Chelsea didn’t buy him.

Until Arsenal win something, he hasn't been worth shit.
They brought for the future and they are in PL race still with CL quarters. The prize money alone from that so far would contribute to the massive fee they paid. If you are going to say no signing is worth anything before they win anything then would be pointless making any.

Yea he has been a great signing. They’d already become a fairly good side, he takes them a step or two forward

But they still spent £105m on him now to win things now. You get about 10-15m for reaching the CL QF so forget whatever prize money you want to add to your argument because Rice doesn't take the plaudits for that entirely on his shoulders......that's distributed amongst all of them. Ok so he's contributed 1-2m of his £105m.

He's been a fantastic signing for them clearly but to say he's been worthy every penny....in April........9 months after signing him.....when they've won fuck all. Nah.

The league is Arsenals, unless we decide to show up this weekend. Then it’s ours.

Impressive win. They’ve set the bar high. Good motivator for us

Who buys a player to just win things? Most Clubs buy players to be competitive and probably hope they win something. That’s all you can ask. He would have been identified as something they required from last season ma drop off. Where did I suggest the QF money would pay it off? If they make CL QF every season for next 4 season at the age he is then he would worth his fee, you can be pedantic about it but he been the single biggest upgrade for Arsenal this season.

Yeah, if Mo had his shooting boots on we would have won by 3 or 4
At least he got one for 3pts.
All that counts. City fans will probably say something similar about Haaland, we need to do our bit tomorrow.

I guess we just have to do it the hard way and win every remaining game.

Spurs can probably get something from the Arsenal game, it's a derby after all.
.

Didn't really expect muxh more I suppose, given that Palace are shit and Brighton are shit, but what a miserable weekend of football so far.

It's the same thing every time, a team wins a game they always had like 80% chance of winning therefore that team will obviously win 9 such games in a row.

But how many times have any of us won 9 straight games this season?

The odds are all 3 of us will drop points. And any given win doesn't change that.

With Thursday night Europe games back now, we will play almost every league fixture after Arsenal & City. Will be interesting to see how that plays out mentally.

Interesting, might just motivate us even more.

Been saying Arsenal is our closest challenger.

They have had a clean bill of health throughout the season, they get decisions going their way, they get last min winners, their players are young and ready and they have been written off the entire season.

The pressure should be on them, not us.

We only have ourselves to blame for letting them get right back into the title race at the Emirates. They have been unstoppable since.

Maddison punching Yates in the stomach but VAR clears it. Dont think anybody knows the rules anymore.
