No issue with making sure Iran can't use nuclear weapons, and the same should be said for Israel. Pretty sure Israel are the wrong group to be deciding who should or shouldn't have them too.

Netanyahu has been saying, very few years, that Iran are very close to having them since 1992. Nobody can be trusted less to get this right than him. And this is also the wrong way to stop them getting them.

Yes. The shadow of WMD in the region goes back decades. Without that raid Saddam might quite conceivably have got his hands on them. Iran's already attacked Israel from the air, Israel has by a country mile the best intelligence about how far the Iranian regime has progressed towards its own WMD and I'd be grateful to be pointed in the direction of any serious alternative suggestion for dealing with the danger.
If you think this Israeli government should be trusted in anything they say or do, then I dispair.
I neither trust nor support Netanyahu or his government, but assuming everything they say to be automatically untrue is simply juvenile.
Based on history, I'd say it's a safe bet. But, yeah, let's verify it, using someone more independent, and not go starting wars before we do.
If it were only that simple. The international community's been trying to do that in Iran for decades and the head of the International Atomic Energy Authority said just yesterday that Iran still isn't complying with safeguards.
