A lot of his saves were right in front of him, except for Sboz's shot, which was at the perfect height for a save. While he is a Terrific keeper, a lot of the commentary about his keeping on Tuesday was excessive IMHO.

PS: Does anyone else think he looks a lot like Charles De Gaulle? 🤣

It’s amazing how many shots are straight at Alison Becker…..

One of the essential parts of being a top class keeper is positioning. Sort of similar to the best strikers just coincidentally being in the right place for a tap in cf. Ian Rush

Not sure I agree mate in this incidence. I think a keeper has a great game when he has to reflexively move beyond his position to make saves. He can have a solid game by standing where he is (like Cortois did) but not deserving of the high praise given.
