The entire city of Villareal has a population of only 52,500.

Interestingly their own stadium holds 23,008 which means half the city can fit in the stadium.

Yeah like I said I knew it was a small club. It's just I don't think I've ever noticed their travelling fanbase before.

This is their away fans at Anfield, 2022 CL semi-final. Still not a big group, but decent noise.

Caught a bit of other games as I watched it at a bar that had the stream that switches between ganes on another sceeen. Kvara and Palmer scored great goals, Barcola's pen effort was beyond pathetic and Kane still gets fouls for falling over defenders
