Jesus is injured leaving city without a striker. They’ve got a tough looking fixture against Leicester.

Leicester have lost Ndidi, who is excellent and essential against City. Leicester will still likely struggle.

Can see Foden starting as a false 9.

Should be a decent game.

They'll buy Mbappe

I was thinking this whilst watching them play wolves the other night. Jesus probably thinks he'll succeed Aguero but there's absolutely no chance, they'll go big for a top striker when Aguero is done.

Jesus is too streaky. He's a confidence player imo. He'll go a few games without scoring, then once he does they usually flow.

That's hard to justify in a team that wants to challenge for every trophy it plays in if they're the main striker.

He's also perpetually offside, or at least he seems to be offside loads whenever I watch them.

That said, he's amazingly talented, & on his day he's close to unplayable.

Will a truly top player go there when they have no idea who will be in charge in 9 months time?

I've never got the concept of wanting teams to win, so that they'll keep a manager. I want them to lose and consistently have to get new managers. United's problem isn't their manager anyway, it's higher up than that.

Does he score a lot of unimportant goals too? I feel like he'll always grab the icing on the cake goal or score early when a team is going to take a pounding regardless.

Shaw, Maguire and Lindelof looks a shocking trio at the back. Hopefully Brighton twat them.

It is to a point but the Sanchez debacle has forced them to learn a little.

They've assembled a decent youngish team now that with one or two additions and the right coach could do well.

That's true. They definitely have some excellent players that could form the nucleus of an excellent team.

Brighton looking really good here. Hit the bar this time. I’ve missed them hitting the post a second time. Still 0-0.

I’m expecting a dodgy pen in the 94th minute for the scum.

FFS. Trying to do a few small bets & build instead of an acca.

Started with Fernandez to have one shot on target at evens.

An entire half of footy & the cunt didn't have any shots whatsoever.

Id rather they keep this manager. He’s the worst they’ve had in 50 years.
