So the 1/2 season at Inter was something we should ignore ... but Chelsea we should take into account ... No bias there.
Took a 2nd place team in Serie A, spent 100 million to finish 3rd (and farther away from Juventus) and won a cup ... So he took the team backward (

As for your last sentence - and your re-writing of history to suit your realistic, pragmatic approach - Ryan (I don't remember how you talked about it) was pissing all of Kenny when he very well knew (I assume you do too) what the man has meant to the club on and especially off the pitch. That's what rubbed people the wrong way. Insulting a man like that continually was just an absolute piss take ... Yes - he took Napoli backwards. The league is the bread and butter for any club aspiring to be a big club. No one talks about him winning the UEFA Cup with Valencia - they talk about the leagues he won.

I thought the Palace game was the nadir. The moment that made my bollocks shrivel up into my throat from sheer fucking pain and anxiety. I honestly felt that would be the most soul-destroying, heart-wrenching, gut-achingly difficult moment I'd ever have to go through as a LFC supporter.

Palace was brutal in terms of the way the game went. However, Chelsea was much worse IMO.
We had won 11 on the trot leading up to it, and it was that Mourinho cunt and Chelsea that had to bring up back down to Earth with an almighty bang. To make matters worse a Gerrard mistake cost us.
