Yup pissing Fergie off, though in fact I think it's more the other way around that he was trying to piss us off like he did with Adam and a whole host of players.

Not convinced, Asim. See earlier bit of thread - I think the Mancs actually could do with him and I therefore don't think Ferguson was in it just to get in our way. As for the "sending out a signal" bit, what I have in mind is the fact that a really promising young talent decides to to throw his lot in with us rather than with that other club down the E.Lancs.Rd - if it happens, of course.

Sky Sports can get things wrong though. They have many of time in the past, especially when Babel was according to them in a helicopter on his way to sign for either Spurs or West Ham, look how that turned out.
