can't tell a lie, i'm gutted about this. i'm sure scott dann's a sound enough player but he's just salt in the wound at the moment - jones is widely considered to be THE top young defender in england...scott dann seems pretty 'Netto' by comparison.

If Jones signs for United it will hurt , as it's them and it will niggle forever when/if he's doing well . But for me the major priority has to be attacking players , especially on the left , so until recently Phil Jones wouldn't have interested me at all. I'd rather the money spent elsewhere .

the worst thing for me is - and i know this sounds a bit unhinged - he really looks like a utd player, y'know? he's just really got that utd 'look' about him, and i can really properly, vividly picture him winning loads of trophies with them.

i think it's a pugnacious look. or a cuntish look. but he's got it - they've all got it. i can always spot them a mile off, utd fans. fucking oafish twats.

That's true mate but at the same time, if he was having a medical with us yesterday, surely we should have him under lock and key until everything's sorted?

I know it's not as easy as that, but he's one of the most sought after young players in the Premier League so surely we knew other Clubs would still be interested?
