Given how Glasner managed to get goals out of Mateta, he should be able to do so with Strand Larsen too - unfortunately for the latter, he only has a few months to work with Glasner.

£85m for Strand Larsen and Johnson is quite a shift from the shrewd signings made under Dougie Freedman though (Eze, Olise, Guehi, Wharton, Doucoure, Andersen).

Edit: Crystal Palace's current Sporting Director Matt Hobbs previously worked at Wolves. Makes sense now.

Man City have dropped 11 points from half-time leads in the Premier League this season – only relegation-threatened West Ham have dropped more from such situations (13).

Across this season and last, City have dropped 21 points from 35 Premier League matches in which they led at half-time (0.60 points dropped per game). In Guardiola’s previous eight seasons in charge, that figure stood at 42 points from 176 such games (0.24 per game).
