Ibe is great but he does like to over do it on the ball at times. He hasn't been guilty of it yet with us but we did see it in preseason and at Derby.
That isn't a dig at Ibe at all, but he does love a crazy dribble too.
Delighted how quickly Ibe has settled back in though.
We had one break where we had a numerical advantage and Ibe was blowing by him and instead of feeding it to him, he held the ball and the break was dead. When he starts the breaks with his passing - he's great (or finishing them off for that matter, or at least trying to) ... but in the middle when you need a Coutinho or Lallana, he's not good enough here imo.
As for Can - I think we should scout all of Bayern's loaned players who have 'buy back clauses' ... Cherry pick them like clubs have done to Barca for years.
I agree. It was never a foul, never a yellow and Kane was clearly offside. All around awful officiating for their 2nd.
THe fact he DID call it a foul and yellow means we should have had another peno ... That's all I am saying ... Consistency.

a proper defender would seek to hoof it out - I find he brings problems on himself - he needs to cut down the % if passes where he wants to retain possession or the play and just opt for the simple hoofs occassionaly. if he gets this balance right he will be great. too many times he tries to play his way out of trouble
