I think we've had a much better
Love that formation.
I'd stick with Szobo at right back, he was exceptional against Newcastle and Macca should be back. As much as I'd be tempted to put Gomez in, it's at right back where he's more likely to get injured. Bradley historically takes time to get up to speed (Gomez too).

As shite as Konate has been, he usually has a few matches like this and then sorts himself out. Gakpo was poor against Newcastle but generally can't be ruled out as a big game contributor.

Either of those lineups works for me and, like you, I'd prefer the first.
Interesting choice-making. Konate didn't err, however, for that second Newcastle goal. He was passing the ball back to Alisson.* With the high line the VVD's idea was for Alisson to collect the second ball. That was the problem in the game (have you seen Monday Night Football interview with SLot?) I would not displace Konate.
*Konate is VVD's subsidiary. He doesn't make his own decisions. And probably for a good reason. It was VVD's error. He changed the line.
I'd play Wirtz. And keep playing him.
If Bradley and Gomez are 100%, I'd go the same. They won't be though.

I hope he is putting pressure on Arne in training by being absolutely supreme and showing he's ready to go. Maybe we'd see him get a sub apperanace at some point - otherwise I feel we will see him for the first time in the Carabao Cup vs. Saints.
Nope. Which is why I’ve seen Kerkez play the last two games.
Back and match fit are different, but i'd expect him and grav to be in the midfield. Might be another Szob at RB jobby if Bradley isn't ready to start
