Love that formation.Interesting read in terms of how we could set up in the future and that the signing of Isak could see us move to a 4-3-1-2.
Would make a lot of sense.
Alisson
Frimpong/Bradley Konate Virgil Kerkez
Szobo Gravy Macca
Wirtz
Salah/Ekitike Isak
Might see us transition into that starting formation going forward.
Fuck off Mo. @Buddha you with me homie?
Alisson
Bradley Konate Virgil Kerkez
Szobo Grav Mac
Wirtz Gakpo
Ekitike
We did that for 90mins MondayI'm wondering if we should drop Wirtz and revert to last season's MF for this one.
Probably more important to spend all week practicing defending corners though.
Yeah I'd take either of those.I'd stick with Szobo at right back, he was exceptional against Newcastle and Macca should be back. As much as I'd be tempted to put Gomez in, it's at right back where he's more likely to get injured. Bradley historically takes time to get up to speed (Gomez too).
----------------Alisson--------------
Szobo---Konate----VVD----Robbo
---------Gravy-------Macca--------
--Salah-------Wirtz-------Gakpo--
--------------Ekitike---------------
As shite as Konate has been, he usually has a few matches like this and then sorts himself out. Gakpo was poor against Newcastle but generally can't be ruled out as a big game contributor.
Alternative would be:
----------------Alisson--------------
Bradley---Konate----VVD----Kerkez
---------Gravy-------Macca--------
--Salah-------Szobo------Wirtz---
--------------Ekitike---------------
That and getting kicked in the calf. We'll be right. We did that for 90mins Monday

Interesting choice-making. Konate didn't err, however, for that second Newcastle goal. He was passing the ball back to Alisson.* With the high line the VVD's idea was for Alisson to collect the second ball. That was the problem in the game (have you seen Monday Night Football interview with SLot?) I would not displace Konate.Becker

I'd play Wirtz. And keep playing him.I'm wondering if we should drop Wirtz and revert to last season's MF for this one.
If Bradley and Gomez are 100%, I'd go the same. They won't be though.Becker

Pretty sure Virgil will play mate.Is there any world where out 6’5 CB starts to counteract their corners?
I think we've had a much better
Love that formation.
I'll believe it when I see itSaka is out, Odegaard in.
Robbo has to start on Sunday for me.
Not the formation. The players. Is it that different to our std 433 with a false 9,
Is there any world where our Italian 6’5 CB starts to counteract their corners?
Nope. Which is why I’ve seen Kerkez play the last two games.Did you stop watching football in 2023?
Back and match fit are different, but i'd expect him and grav to be in the midfield. Might be another Szob at RB jobby if Bradley isn't ready to startMacca is back according to Slot
Bradley apparently trained all week and is good to start.Back and match fit are different, but i'd expect him and grav to be in the midfield. Might be another Szob at RB jobby if Bradley isn't ready to start
I'd honestly prefer Joey GBack and match fit are different, but i'd expect him and grav to be in the midfield. Might be another Szob at RB jobby if Bradley isn't ready to start
