Yesh saw the same but we know he did defend and chase back. Plenty of examples last season on this. The BBC didn’t post the stats but he says himself the numbers are there and I don’t have to defend.

Well I only watched every single game last season. Attack down the right? But that isn’t just down to one player. Any actual stats? Not having go, just wondering.
Yeah can't agree with that. Macca has that mentality and Gravy is a ball winner even though not in the yard dog category. We haven't got yard dogs, so no matter what midfield we put out, we're getting outmuscled.
I don't like the 4 cm idea, as it would cause issues in build up, and leave us short if there's injuries.
Just using premier league player comparisons for Salah vs Gakpo itsYesh saw the same but we know he did defend and chase back. Plenty of examples last season on this.
Like I said, yes but there were also plenty of him helping defense and doing his bits, 442 vids are snapshots of convenience but are there any actual stats those two things I mentioned? The video is probably on FourFourTwo.
One of the main memories of last season is Konate rushing out to the right to help TAA. Why wasn't Mo doing that? Where was Mo?
Yep, night and day. Sell Mo and play Gakpo on right against Newcastle.Just using premier league player comparisons for Salah vs Gakpo its
3373 minutes vs 1939
21 tackles vs 28
9 interceptions vs 12
0 blocks vs 3
127 duels vs 107
9 aerial duels vs 17
Breaking it down to minutes played it’s a stark difference.

Or tell Mo to stop being a lazy cunt and put a shift in.Yep, night and day. Sell Mo and play Gakpo on right against Newcastle.

I think unlikley, he has licence and isn’t Gakpo like 8yrs younger.Or tell Mo to stop being a lazy cunt and put a shift in.
I was agreeing with the stats. It’s obviously there. However, if you compare with other like minded players on that position like Rodrygo (think he plays on right), Salah’s defensive stats are slightly better it seems. Interesting…
"Conor trained for a few minutes with us today for the first time," said Slot.
"At the moment we only have two injuries but unfortunately, it is two in the same position. The good thing is we have other players that can play there. Wataru played there for a few minutes, Dominik Szoboszlai has already played there. There are other options we can explore.
"Joe Gomez is definitely one of them but for him to already play 20 minutes - that is already quite a lot.
"I wouldn't say he has had a setback but he wasn't able to train three days in a row completely with the team, which is completely normal when you have been out for so long and all of a sudden the manager needs you for 20 minutes.
"He is training with the team, so let's see where he is on Monday and if he can be involved with the team or even start. But there are other options.
Matches involving Newcastle and Liverpool often contain a bit of an edge but this rerun of last season’s Carabao Cup final will surely take things to a different level. Eddie Howe’s team won that showpiece yet one of their heroes of the hour, Alexander Isak, is at war with Newcastle as he endeavours to, currently rather forlornly, engineer a move to Anfield. With the Sweden striker training alone the only certainty is that Isak will not be at St James’ Park where geordie anger at Liverpool’s perceived tactics in unsettling Tyneside’s fallen idol should guarantee already febrile emotions run high. Howe is expected to field the former Everton winger, and boyhood Liverpool fan, Anthony Gordon out of position at centre-forward. Gordon, along with Isak and Fabian Schär, scored in last December’s fabulous 3-3 Premier League draw between these teams. Back then Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah scored twice in the course of a wonderful performance. The Egyptian’s duel with Howe’s likely left-back, Tino Livramento, could prove pivotal. Louise Taylor

Kerkez, but that might also be a worry! So when it starts getting feisty, who in our team will step up and give some back?
Probably our entire defence (especially if Endo is at right back).
Anyone else?

He's got the eyes of a killerKerkez, but that might also be a worry!
Gomez got bullied by the jumped up midgets Raheem and Sterling.Gomez as well. I hope he's fit enough to start at right back. We will need that at set pieces etc.

Macca probably isn't match for still and gravy is an excellent intercepter; I'm less convinced as a tackler.Yeah can't agree with that. Macca has that mentality and Gravy is a ball winner even though not in the yard dog category.
