Probably... Hard to say, I wrekon he would of done a better job with our defence. But whether the football would of been as clinical or entertaining as we have seen at times, I'm not so sure..

I don' think there's any doubt it wouldn't have been as entertaining.

He's a good bloke, Rafa, a genuinely decent man. Pity he's now in with Mike Ashley and that loony group of geordies.

Rafa can build a good defence alright but not sure if he would be able to build a good attack with this lot.

Plus Rafa like controlling games and we don't really have the players for that.

The Rafa that did that died a long time ago and that squad had players the current squad could only dream of,

Hyypia, Carra, Riise, Alonso, Gerrard, Garcia,
The squad was crap our best XI was great. But if you remember, we missed a few of those players during the tournament.
Dude we started a game with fucking LeTallec and in another game Pongolle and Mellor had to bail us out.

No doubt it was a success built on defence with Hamann and Finnan to.

But the question was would Rafa get this squad 4th, I doubt he would.

No, he wouldn't, but I also doubt that we'd have the same squad with Rafa in charge.
Another thing, we haven't finished fourth yet. Still need a win against Boro.

Would Klopp have won the European Cup with the 2005 squad?

It doesn't matter, it's just an equally irrelevant question.

There's no real point comparing and doing 'what ifs'

Different styles, times and teams

Benitez won a European Cup. Until Klopp delivers that, or a league title, he'll never be a better Liverpool manager than him

Roberto Di Matteo won the CL as a manager, and he's terrible. Just saying!
