I dunno. If he excelled on the loans, then absolutely. But he didn't. And now he's had an op. I think we're being his rehab tbh

He did really well on the Spain move. He was excellent.

I can remember sitting round the table for a debrief and hearing about how the club believed the transfer window we'd just executed would be transformative, a huge step forward in getting us back to where we needed to be.

And we'd brought in Lord Divock after his loan back to Lille.
I feel, to say the least, a tad more optimistic about this window.

It was transformative. It led to the appointment of Klopp roughly 14 months later.
