*waits for Spion to call Le Chacal a cunt*
Why?
Because all your posts are unremittingly negative, and Spion gets wound up by that sort of thing.
My apologies to Spion then.
Rafa's football is negative, not me.
And dont tell me we scored 6 goals against Hull please.
That's ridiculous Lech, it really is. We might have played poorly at times this season, the last week in particular but we're clearly not a goal shy outfit, his football nowadays is far from negative.
Fair enough mate.
We still havent beaten a decent side this season. Really worrying.
Squigg: Benitez will be here for a few more years, unless he resigns. And yes I do enjoy supporting LFC
I gave my opinion on the match, your post is just pointless.
All your posts are pointless, LC. At the end of last season we played the best football in Europe. I'm pretty sure Rafa Benitez was the manager during that spell. We also beat all the top teams, including Man Utd 4-1 away. Were we negative then as well?
Our problem so far this season has not been attacking but defending. But you're still stuck on the previous loop: you need to change your tape.
Whatever. I think our problem is in the middle and that affects both defense and attack.
The manager has to adapt his system according the caracteristics of the players at his disposal.
Lucas is not Alonso, you cant play the same system. Lucas and Mascher dont create anything, Gerrard has to drift back and that leaves Torres alone up front. So alone that he gets frustrated and loses his focus.
Most people on this site have been saying Gerrard has to come back in the middle until Aquilani is fit with Yossi in the hole.
I wasnt the only one Bunny.
Our stubborn manager doesnt want to see whats so obvious to most of us.
Le Chac, my team for Chelsea was exactly the one you just described. However, I do understand why Rafa opted for a more solid-looking XI, with Lucas and Mascher in CM. We'd been conceding too many goals, and away at Chelsea you can't afford to be wide-open. I share some of your frustrations with our tactics - and I shared a lot more of them about 10 months ago - but the fact that you never gave Rafa or our team (almost all of whom were Rafa signings) any credit when we were steamrollering the best sides in Europe late last season just makes me think you're closer to a spambot than a supporter.
