Sack him

We've gone from having one of the best players upfront banging goals in, with a highly capable sidekick, to having nothing upfront. What did people expect. Sturridge is a sicknote and can't be counted on, and Rodgers and the committee decided fit to spend the money elsewhere. He didn't want Borini, he did want Remy and Falcao and got neither.
Putting all the blame on Rodgers is harsh, but it is true, he's no fucking idea how to set up a defence.
I think he got rolled over in the summer on the strikers front, and it's now compounded with us having nothing upfront and Rodgers not having a clue at the back.

A good manager could work with what he's got. Just look at Pulis saving Palace last season. Or someone closer to home, if you know what I mean.

I'm not in particular keen on the sacking hyperbole but we're not and he's not learning from our mistakes.
Bizzarre subs two matches in a row. And he's been tactically outwitted by Pardew, Warnock, Allardyce and Bruce.

I'm getting fed up with not being able to learn the basics of defending and not having the balls to drop some of the passengers in this team.

What will save him is that there are no candidates available mid season. FSG will fire him without a doubt though. They wont stand for this.

120 mill spent and we rely on Borini to come of the bench.

Painful, pathetic and fucking embarrasing.

I do think that BR has enough good players to be doing considerably better. I'm glad it's not me having to decide what to do at present as whatever is decided is likely to cost. Paying up management team contracts or allowing further money to be spent by them.

8 points from the last 9 games. Thats relegation form.
If it continues Rodgers wont last long. FSG wont stand for it.

Ludo and Stoke. Two insanely massive games for us but also Rodgers.
If we dont have 2 wins by next sunday it will look very dark for Rodgers.

Yeah, he'll get till end of season. But we won't make 4th, and we're probably not make it out of the group stages in the CL.

I can't see a good Europa League or Carling Cup run keeping him in the job. Things are looking very bad for him I'd say.

And for us, well let's not even start. The good thing is I've actually stopped caring.

If the only way he can be successful is by having a partnership of the caliber of SAS upfront, maybe he is not a good fit for us in the long term. I think most of us will tolerate a dip in performance accounting for the loss of those two. But there a big gap between a tolerable dip in performance and being outwitted by Pardew, Warnock, and Allardyce.

Rafa = stability
Call me crazy but, I'm not ready for another 3 seasons of uncertainty.

Yea, I'm not keen on Rafa again.
The man I wanted is at our rivals now.
What pisses me off with FSG is, Van Gaal wanted to bring his own staff and FSG said no.
Then they let Rodgers who's done nothing in football bring in his staff. IDIOTS!

We were so careful not to repeat the mistakes of Spurs when they bought absolute shite with Bale's money.

And then we went to buy shite with Suarez's money.

This is a team that, if it got sucked into the relegation zone, would have no fight to escape from it. It's the most fearful, powder-puff LFC team I've ever seen. So I think we can forget about a season-long vote of confidence. This team needs to find a solution pronto, or heads will roll.

Yep. The lack of fight from the players, & Rodgers inability to even try to change things on the pitch is what has really got the fans pissed off. Sure, wins would have glossed over that, but it'd still be there. There were plenty of fans worried about Mignolet & our defence last season despite our win record.

If he looked even remotely like he had a plan or the players support I'd be rubbishing this talk.

As it is he looks fucking clueless though, & the players either are realising he hasn't a clue or aren't prepared to give, 100%for him. Either means the end.

Part of me is wondering if a lot of this stemmed from the Real Madrid game where he dropped the senior players. It can't be that simple can it?

Smart man ... Not sure if you did it for the same reason as me, but I enjoyed last season so much ... despite the crash at the end, it just was a fun ride that was the closest I've ever felt to a 'proper' title push ... Oh well ... Maybe I'll keep the idea of being a LIverpool fan away from my kids !

Probably ... but I also think part of it comes from the fact we sold the only player who actually fucking fought regardless of the score or opponent ... It was contagious ... We need a leader out there ...

I can see a massive overhaul in Jan if this relegation form continues. at current form I'd accept bids for everyone bar, maybe, Studge, Coutinho, Sterling and I dunno, maybe Can can stay as well.

I think if you could wave a magic wand, wipe away this season, get Brendan some therapy to sort out his private life, then start again, he'd actually come good again. It's just that we are where we are, and the clock is ticking. I'm not sure anyone involved with the club has the nerve to take much more of this.
