The fans will want Poch, although he won't come before the WC, meaning Ireola will likely be the main target, although I think he is smart enough to reject them and wait for a better opportunity. Then they'll land on McKenna and pray for the best.
Is Tottenham such a bad opportunity? Their main problem has just been appointing bad or unsuitable managers. I don't think there's anything fundamentally broken there. It's not a basket case like Chelsea. They're well capable of a top 5 finish if they get the right guy in.
I don't disagree that they're not a bad landing spot for most managers, but they're absolutely nowhere near being a top 5 team for me... Who in the top 5 are they going to replace? They should be in the top half, maybe, but that's about it.Is Tottenham such a bad opportunity? Their main problem has just been appointing bad or unsuitable managers. Fair, and this year they're 16th... Who do you think that they'll be better than, next year? That's a once decent team that's now thorough broken, and it's not changing back quickly.Spurs literally finished 5th last year.

Well, fair enough. Not for me.Well tbf I didn't actually say that I think they'll finish 5th next year. What I meant but didn't make explicit is that within a reasonable time frame they're easily capable of finishing 5th. But if I was pushed then yes I ALSO think it's entirely possible for them to finish 5th next year just like they did last year.
You ask who they might replace in a year and one month without seeming to realise that the top 5 is in flux OVER THE NEXT MONTH, let alone over the next 13 months. There is no established top 5 to break into! Beyond the top 3 and bottom 3 the league is vey competitive and fluid.
But to spell it out: I could see Spurs finishing above any of Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, and Forest.
With Kane gone and Son aging out, they need a big refresh up front. And at the back. And in midfield. And in the dugout.
What about in the stadium?
Spurs will go for Iraola from Bournemouth...he'd be a fool to go there though
Poll needs a refresh.
- Potter
- Bumorim
- Thundercunt
- Scotty P
- Moyesiah
- The Aussie humpty dumpty
You could make a make a case for every other team in league overachieving (or at least in Wolves' scenario, since the new manager's come in).
Arteta?Trying to work out who Thundercunt is?
The thunderbird looking cunt....the thundercunt.Trying to work out who Thundercunt is?

Fair.
I prefer Legoheadedcunt… and as someone who fucking loves Lego.
But I can live with and respect Thundercunt too.
Anything with cunt in it will probably work.
Spurs have a foundation for growth they have a net goal difference of 6 which is remarkable for a 16th place team. Ange is not the man to make it, but get a more tactically astute manager, they could make top 6Fair, and this year they're 16th... Who do you think that they'll be better than, next year? That's a once decent team that's now thorough broken, and it's not changing back quickly.
