Besides the occasional wayward pass, he looked very good again last night and he has done the few times he's played this season. I'm hoping we see a lot more of him next season, especially with the Europa League, he's definitely ahead of Carragher in my book and next season I reckon he'll be keeping Skrtel and Agger on their toes. Huge fan.

Just typing it as it's pronounced. Always makes me laugh how it's Coates but it's pronounced like that.

Yeah, he looked good. Hopefully he'll be ahead of Carra next season and continue his development by playing more games. Looked a bit rusty at times, which is understandble.

The foreign commentator on the stream I had last night kept pronouncing it "coats". Was quite funny actually.

I agree. I really like how he's shaping up. He's also really good on the ball, and he loves to get forward too.
