@Richey she won 3 elections because of Michael Foot, Kinnock and The Falklands and because people are stupid. The lowest post war approval rating of 25 %. She made the South prosperous and left the North in turmoil. An absolute cunt.

I agree that there's no point. It's a wild claim and would almost certainly be extemely well known were there any major evidence for it. And I'm not being deliberately petty either, and talking in terms of absolute iron-clad proof, I recognise that that's too high a standard for cllaims about something such as a person's motive. I mean strong, very persuasive evidence in favour.

I think you know it doesn't exist.

Those were factors, but opposition leaders wouldn't matter that much if the government was THAT unpopular. People simply wouldn't vote at all.

You have your opinion on Thatcher, which you are entitled to, and I couldn't change that even if I wanted to, which I don't, but there were a lot of people who supported her in the 80s, and they were not all in the South of England. She did some bad certainly, but she did some good too.
