So if Rafa came back..........

Well in the weird world of football stranger things have happened.

Sources say Suarez could be off for a big fee.

We would need to replace him with a rela goal scorer. Torres has come back into form and we all know he regrets leaving LFC.

He was unplayable under Rafa for the most part so if we were to bring Rafa back why not Torres?

We 'need' to replace our best player? We 'need' to replace our best player with a player who's not been himself for 3+ years? We 'need' to sell our BEST player again!?!? What?

If we want to improve on this year, we need Suarez to be with us. Or we can just sell him, and spend the 30 million on Holt (10 million), Moses (10 million) & Milner (10 million). GREAT! 🙂

Do you not realise that Rafa has magical powers that will make Torres a 20 league goals a season striker?

I don't think there is any doubt that Rafa improved Torres as a striker, and that he has improved every player who has taken his rather driven approaches to development on board. He can't wind the clock back on Torres' body though.

Suarez ain't going nowhere and Torres is too proud to admit his mistake publicly. It won't happen!

I do think he'd score more for us and probably with Rafa here, but anyway, it's a daft point. We need, just for one transfer window, to not end up selling one of our best players. Just once, for the love of God.

None of our players will make any plans until the identity of the new Manager and structure are known. Their response will say it all on the new appointments.

what would be different though, is Rafa the type of man to say actually I got some things wrong last time with the rant, the zonal marking, the negative footy worrying more about the oppositions strengths, saying "QUAALLLL-ity" too much ??

I doubt it

If Rafa came back.....

...I'd be optimisitic about the future of the club.

I'd honestly prefer him to a lot of the flavour of the moment names that are being suggested. Not so long ago many were talking about Owen Coyle in that way. How he was a promising young manager who's team played nice footy. Martinez ? Didn't he lose 9 games on the run or something? I don't care what some say about it has nothing to the manager. That kind of run would end his career at Anfield instantly.
