Great post by @singlerider earlier. Also quite amused that it was immediately followed by a livvy posting something from Twitter.

Anyways, I still really don't want to see Suarez go and we're going to have to sign some sexy as fuck players to cheer me up. I'm not overly hopeful.

a livvy?

There is only one

Ajax turned him down for next season on loan as he was shite last season. They have better kids coming through.

I'm surprised he's still only 23. He's the Spanish James Milner. Seem to have been around forever, but one look at their age and I go, "What? How is he not even 25 (or 30 in Milner's case) yet?".

Marca - Alexis Sanchez has interrupted his vacation to fly to Barcelona, where he could resolve his future in the coming hours.

Still feel it will be Arsenal. Barca need to sell I guess when buying Suarez.
Fingers crossed however slim chance it might be.

Are you going to post the next one that shows them quoting that it's a Spanish TV report?

Or are you going to try and make this look like a BBC report?

It is a BBC report, where do you think they get the rest of their news from? Thin air? There's always a source, especially if it's transfer related.

Its a BBC tweet announcing what happened on Spanish TV. The source is Spanish TV.

No more than that. It hasn't been fact checked.

How are you going to fact check it though? As has been said a few times today, people know next to nothing about the reality of what's going on with transfers, until it actually happens. The only thing we can gather at the moment is that we've agreed on a fee and it's now hinging on Sanchez, as to whether he'll make up part of the deal. And even then, that's only what we're putting together from multiple reports, none of it is, as you say, "fact checked".

I've already said that Inspector Clouseau. Keep up.

Dont bother mate. The only solution here is ignore I think

Your naivety is amazing

Not sure what I'm being naive about, I didn't say I believed any tweet, you're just reading too much into what people think about what's being reported. It's dead easy to fathom.

Report: "This situation might happen".

The forum: "Wouldn't that be great/shit if that happened?"

Ross: I can't tolerate people believing that tweet.

Have you been in a timewarp, where preseasons were just a plethora of reports from authenticated sources? Are you seeing something no one else is seeing, where the forum is just a massive herd of sheep, following every word to the letter? No were not, we're just discussing what comes out, hypothetically if you like. Lighten up.

There was a time when they were from journalists.

Not losers pretending to know things on twitter that Hansern follows

Don't make me delete the thread just to stop this

Fuck off.

Get Hansern to tell us why he didn't post the original tweet and instead went for something that lent it a little bit more credibility if you didn't look further at it
