I agree about the news updates. I don't want bullshit either but I just scroll past the majority of the bullshit tweets as I see them as harmless fillers to a thread.
I just don't want to see every tweet being contested when the majority of people here just by pass them and move on.
Surely he can take that to The European Court of human rights? I mean he has a right to earn a living. Fine ban him on the pitch but to not to be able to train during the ban is just pathetic.
FIFA are infringing on his right to work and freedom of movement. Fifpro had an issue with the punishment and I doubt that this is the last that we'll hear of it. Human rights Commission and Court of Arbitration will have something to say about it if the appeal by Uruguay fails.

Let's look at the Bosman case for comparison. An out of contract player (so not being paid) who because his club would not release his registration, unable to earn a living.

But I'd hazard a guess that I'm speaking for a fair proportion of people - possibly even the majority - when I say that it's a fuckton easier to put up with bullshit rumours from twitter than it is to put up with your constant sniping.
I may be wrong. I'm more than happy to run a poll on this and wind my neck in if I am. Maybe I'm speaking out of turn, maybe my feelings on this are not the consensus, in which case I'll happily shut the fuck up.
However, perhaps your feelings on what this place needs to do to improve are not the consensus. Perhaps everyone else is actually perfectly happy to wade through a few twitter rumours and take an appropriately sized pinch of salt based on their preference, because they're an adult that can make their own mind up.

Though I don't frequent any other football sites other than this, I rather suspect that most of them - especially at this time of year - will be littered with similar threads. Before the advent of twitter, we'd all do the same thing with articles from newspapers - and let's face it, the veracity of either of those sources is not a million miles apart. You've developed this all-consuming agenda, and it's turned you into someone that most of the people from the KT era wouldn't recognise (or, possibly, would easily mistake for DJ Syd.)

I can't think of the last positive or constructive thing you've added to the forum. I can't remember the last decent post. I can't think what you actually add to this place, other than unnecessary tension and a trail of threads ruined by the same old shite again and again and again.

I mean - I'm not being funny, but apart from the nutjobs, there's only been a few notable bannings in the history of this place, and when you look at who they were and why they got the boot, it starts to raise some questions.
Brendan got sacked off because he was driving people away. He was beyond acerbic, he mercilessly hounded a few individuals and he was relentlessly unrepentant. But on the other hand at least he was funny once in a while and he did keep some of the morons in check.
Ryan got banned from his own site for something similar - he's always been capable of producing quality posts, but it had got to the stage where those were few and far between and he was just picking fights with people.
Well . . . do I need to make the point explicit? Can you really say you're doing anything different - adding anything more than them?
You're stinking out the place. All you do is come into a thread and drop a dirty great turd in it, and then revel in spreading it over the next few pages. I'd rather read 100 pages of twitter bullshit than 2 pages of that.
Perhaps - and I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here - you believe that in doing so you're 'cleaning this place up' and making it better for everyone, but the reality is you're fucking shit up. No-one wants to hear it anymore. It got real fucking old about 6 months ago, and it's starting to seem like the only thing you've got left.
Tell you what - if this place and its denizens really piss you off that much, perhaps you should take a leaf out of your own book and go off and start up a new forum. You've done it once before, you can do it again.
