Austria was a pretty cool place to live actually - though as a 'townie' three years in the countryside was enough ! The people were very kind to us (suspicious at first but lovely once they get to know you), the countryside spectacular all 4 seasons and it was very easy to travel to Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Switz, Germany etc.

The food is very Germanic though. Nothing other than Austrian, Pizza and Chinese were we lived. We used to drive up to Vienna one day a month (4 hrs each way) just for a Mexican !

I swear to god, as a kid when I saw this, every time, I would be terrified.
Me to, but my two young ones just laugh at it and sing & dance along with it, media rock hard them two. Big ups to perhaps the worlds first robot dance when they pretend to be dolls. But it's one of the great kids movies, we have them all including Mary Poppins(LSD trip), Hans Christian Anderson, a.s.f. The kids love them more than any modern Disney Stuff(except Frozen, of course).
Anyway, Luis is gone to Barca.....................Thread duty fulfilled.

Getting right back on topic regarding Austria. Possibly one of the oddest places I have visited (certainly in Europe anyway) No offence to @Holle who I have met and is sound but it really it is a bit weird. My buddy lived there for a few years so I used to visit him lots. It was £29 to fly to Bratislava and a few quid into Vienna - Half as much as popping up to Liverpool! He was a student and his digs were in an old psychiatric hospital. His room was a 'cell' with a little spy hole in the door! It's possible I saw a ghost there as well (which I don't believe in but I swear what I saw was true)

There's all these weird shops selling silver candlesticks and armour! Loads of women walk around in real fur coats and for some reason we hardly saw any kids! Serious. It's also one of the only places I've seen a real cobbler shop as well. Proper old school shoemaker. LOL. I did love it though even if it was weird as fuck.

btw @Holle is not weird in anyway (Apart from his weird goatee beard) 😉

Kids?

You mean small humans you normally keep in your cellar?
