If we're taking massive gambles then i think Frank De Boer could be worth considering. Hes worked with Ajax's kids in their youth setup and has started his managerial career with success. He'll know the transition from youth-reserve-first team player better than most which will help long term for what we are trying to do. Hes also a big-ish name in football which sometimes helps when bringing players in from certain areas.
Xabi's standards dropped, no question, he got found out a bit in his second season and alot of people wrote him off (prematurely, with hindsight) but there were other circumstances too, we lacked a wide player to really utilise his abilities to the full. That said, it was slightly frustrating that it took a kick up the arse and a feeling of not being wanted for him to play to a higher standard, to ultimately get a big move. It makes you wonder what the bigger motivation was, to improve because people were clearly unhappy with his current standard, or so that he'd get recognised by other clubs.
i dont want kenny gone unless we have a much better candidate to replce him. if there's no money to spend then i deffo dont want him gone as my only concern at this point is how he would spend it.
So basically, Dunk is standing on a bin looking over the wall at Melwood and can't see Kenny, therefore Kenny has been fired. I see.

If there's no money to spend, someone like Martinez would be the perfect candidate.

Hmmm.. as I posted yesterday I was told a very dodgy rumour from a friend of mine in the weekend that we had already signed with Villas-Boas and that Kenny was a goner.
To be honest I didn't really believe it at the time despite being told that 'the mole' was pretty well connected. Perhaps I was wrong not to.

I'm hearing big rumours about Rafa and Pako returning (I dont believe Rafa will come back) and even fucking Mourinho at the moment. The reality is probably Martin O Neill
