not sure I'm bothered if anyone thinks I'm wrong all the time. I only state my opinion and my opinion is honestly given, I don't fish for 'likes' or agree just because the majority all agree. if I think the majority are right I'll agree if I think they are wrong I'll disagree.
Because:
He made us difficult to beat - which is the first criteria for success for me.
He knows the club
He brought some glorious times back to the club
He attract the top tier of players - Alonso, Mascherano, Torres etc
Of course he has his blind spots but so do all managers. Out of that list he is the proven one for me.

I'm not saying rafa should be hired because the fans want him (you're right, by and large fans should be ignored), I'm saying rafa should be hired because he is the most qualified to do the job.
If the job is to finish what he started and actually destroy the club then I agree.

I don't want Rafa. Plus, I think he'd ruin Suarez a bit. Suarez likes to buzz around the place and relies heavily on flair and is pretty much left to his own devices. I can't see him given that freedom under Rafa.
