I thought overall we played quite well. However,it was a classic case of isolated errors that cost us the game. It felt like we had far more (half) chances than Spurs but they failed to result in proper attempts on goal because there is no-one up front with any sort of stiking instinct other than Suarez.

In that period we had Suarez one-on-one with the keeper and he chose to place it rather than blast it. And then Henderson missed an open goal. It could have been 2-2 easily.

He has his limitations and im not convinced just yet but at least Shelvey has a swagger and confidence about him. Isnt afraid of trying things and having a dig at goal.

Oh I don't disagree with any of that. I just mean, the season overall, we've played badly. We need better players for sure. Whether we'll get them or not is highly debatable. First defeat in a while though looking at the positives.

All you need to know mate is Donging was at left back, Hendo started the game and SG is STILL taking all our corners. The days turn into nights yet the shit remains the same.

We definitely need to revise our midfield, because it's cack but has the potential to be good with a different comination and/or a buy.

I can put up with the excuses on the scoring front but dear Lord why is Donging playing left back and more importantly why is SG playing in a defensive role rather than the last third? Basic fekin bollocks which is costing us games mate.
