At times it feels like only Suarez has the ability and ambition to take the initiative. Wish we had another Suarez in our team. I'm not even being greedy. Just one more.

Suso coming off was a bit annoying though. Perhaps Rogers was protecting him and trying to use his sparingly as he is new to the team but he has the beating of his man and seems to have the ability to make something happen.

I don't disagree with any of that and I was also disappointed to see Suso go off. Joe Cole for Sahin (which is what it was when Assaidi came on) was an alright thing to try, in my opinion.

I think I would have preferred Assaidi on for Raheem. I thought Stoke were well prepared for his pace and cuts inside and that perhaps Assaidi foot work might create something. We did not get him the ball enough when he did come on. Not sure if the players are not yet comfortable with him, but he was often open and not used.

Borini should have come on. Say what you like about his finishing or touch, his movement is sensational

The balance of the team isn't right with no full-time focal point to the attack. If we fill that gap with the right player(s) in January, I'd be hopeful that a fair bit of the rest of our play will benefit as well.

The amount of times we had no one on the back post was shocking tbh. We needed a poacher like borini could be

The lack of quality in attack was very clear today. Suso and Sterling Are great talents, but they should obvs be back ups at this point in their career.

..and that was the problem today. No fucking movement bar Suarez (and Stirling to a lesser degree).

If I had a penny for every time Allen/Sahin/Gerrard had the ball, ten men in front of them and only Suarez buzzing around (but inevitably pulling wide or deep). Infuriating.

Unfair stick for Gary there for an off the cuff remark. In the ground I called Cole much worse when he spooned that shot into orbit.

So it's ok that he did it, cos you did it?

But was his worse cos he wasn't "in the ground"?

So you've never called a player something when they have fluffed a chance or played poorly? Not in a I really think you're a cunt way, just in a disappointed way.

Tbf spion I think people are over reacting to Gary. Cunt doesn't have the same venom is used to, so it surprises me people are getting slightly precious over it.

Very strong words from Stoke City boss Tony Pulis who says Luis Suarez should be punished by FA for 'diving' on Sunday: http://bbc.in/R7V7yy

Pulis can fuck off. Taking the morale high ground after that display is laughable and embarresing.
No doubt that is what the media will remember from the game (the dive), and not Stoke trying to kill our players.

Huth should have been off.

Maybe if Rogers has made more of a fuss of the Stoke antics today Pulis wouldn't have had the opportunity to deflect all attention to Suarez. Fek me, BR's reaction to the shit that went on was Hodgson-esque!

It's predictable though. They all do it where Luis Suarez is concerned - foul him and then cry "simulation" at the ref and everyone else.

A bloke on the radio made a very good point this morning. He reminded everybody that, when Ferguson came out with his "Suarez is a diver" quote, it was in response to a question about an incident in which Ferdinand was lucky to get away with not conceding a penalty in *that* game against us and Suarez wasn't even involved in the incident.

I wish our managers and players for that matter would do a little more to put pressure on refs etc BR had the perfect opportunity to highlight the treatment Suarez gets, but no, instead we heard a lot of bollocks about Stoke being ' big lads'!!!

Pulis then take2 minutes to deflect all attention onto Suarez.
