Struggling Suarez..

Someone went to KOLN, from England in the 70's. Or am I going daft?

Found this. Did you know this fact. "As German champions, Köln entered the 1964–65 European Cup where they met England's Liverpool at the quarter-final stage. After two 0–0 draws, a third game was played which was also a stalemate, this time 2–2. As the penalty shootout had not yet been introduced as the means of deciding a tie, Köln went out of the competition on the toss of a coin. Ironically enough there was the need for a second coin toss, because the first time the coin stuck vertically in the ground. "

Just for the record, it is Koeln if you don't use an umlaut

I said it before he left but Suarez is all wrong for that Barca set up, tactically and positionally. Hes a galactico signing, bought for his name rather than any great need for him in the team, they would have been much better off spending that money on Pogba and world class centre half but they needed a name for their constant game of one up man ship with Real. If Messi stays, and that looks less certain than it did previously, he will never replicate anything like the sort of goal scoring form he had with us and he will be moving on in 12 months to City or Chelsea most likely, we will have no chance based on his wages. If Messi leaves I could see Suarez and Neymar forming an interesting partnership

how much would Messi go for?
150-200m?

Is it possible he could even live up to that sort of value ? Ronaldo would tear up the premier league once again and wouldn't cost that . I'm not sure messi would reign so supremely over the Premier league.

If this turns out to another players peak at a certain age discussion, then I hope the whole forum burns to ground. Slowly.

Then its Phoenix or Galaxy. Just out of interest when did Gerrard peak. Do you think tee he.

Well well Suarez is struggling eh?

According to some the La Liga defences are piss weak and he was going to score 50 goals easy lol.

Ball bag said €250M buyout clause which becomes €390M when tax is taken into account. Didn't follow the second bit, but he suggested the €250M woudl need to be paid by Messi himself, and so would need €390M of pre-tax earnings. Odd, but thats Gillem for you

Pure class - he will always cope, regardless. Best player I have ever seen in red - by far. Want him back!!!

Lots of Suarez to the Scum rumours doing the rounds. Too horrible to contemplate.

He wont leave Barca mate. Spanish journos commented on a Daily mail article the other day and said it was very far from the truth. He's happy in Barcelona.

Uuuh - it's more about the system than Suarez ... He'd be scoring for fun with Madrid.

Doubt it, hed be 2nd or 3rd in the pecking order behind Ronaldo and Bale, same problem as he has at Barca with Messi and Neymar. Every great goalscorer needs somebody to carry the water for them. As long as Suarez plays in a team with a player who is quite obviously superior like Messi or Ronaldo he will be a water carrier, unfortunately for him it looks like he joined Barca just as they are on the verge of imploding

A goal and an assist tonight.
Oh and a booking for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Day at the office for him.

The guy has been there a few months and folk are contemplating his next move. He's going nowhere.
