Old news. Saw this a week or so ago somewhere. Don't believe a word of it as it makes no sense whatsoever.

Indeed not. Hopefully it isn't "news" at all, given his track record in big jobs in the Prem. In any case Villarse Boarse made it pretty clear when he left Tottenham that he wouldn't return to English football, which is one of the few things he ever got right over here.

Yes we have approached him...to become Brendan's game day wardrobe adviser. FSG got sick and tired of Brendan's black shirt, black tie combo and want to bring in AVB to help him coordinate his wardrobe better.

Haha this is the poorest media windup attempt I've seen. Would rather we were managed by Christian Gross or Jacques Santini.

Times aren't renowned for making shit up like the tabloids. Wouldn't surprise me that the owners are covering their arse with their investment and exploring possible options if they did have to do something.

They may not make stuff up, but they're as capable of getting things round their neck as any paper. Witness that blert Tony Evans (their Deputy Sports Editor, which should sound warning bells in its own right) announcing to a waiting world that we were getting bought by the Chinese government.

Whenever I think of this idiot, I think of how he instructed, yes, instructed his Chelsea players to celebrate goals with him.
Hilariously pitiful character.

no chance, not happening. If the board do decide to start looking at other options there are at least 4 managers in the Prem more suited then AVB, who lets face it has been a completely disaster during his time in England

Journalists make stuff up all the time. It's called 'agenda setting' and is a well-known tactic for selling rags.

When things inevitably go wrong for him, at least he's used to being fired thanks to Liverpool's level of performance.

Someone with experience for me... and not someone who is shite like Hodgson.

We need someone whos been there and knows how to win things.

I think Rodgers has done the same.

Explains why our players don't like scoring.

I'm not advocating we take AVB, but, he's experience at winning major trophies and he's been in charge of big teams with high expectations. He's got a pretty good win % too across different leagues. It's not like he's shit, although he is a bit of a cunt.
His crouching and 'celebrate with me' routine isn't exactly that worse than 'dont be in the envelope' or 'only trust each other, oh, and the fans, oh and your families'.
