The Egyptian King

He was fucking Shite today. Oooooo beat a man with a beautiful touch. Then fucked up the part that actually mattered.

He was also our best player first half by the countriest of country miles....only a halfwit would argue against that.

& I'm the first to call our cunts for shit performances but let's call a spade a spade here.

He was fucking shite today and to call it anything different makes you a gobshite. Made a boss touch or two then made the wrong choice over and over again. Then rightly subbed off.

So a 2 year contract then.
Does that mean we're going to sell him for a xfer fee at the end of next season or let him go on a free after the 2nd year? When he'll be 35.

You'd think he's off in 2 years. Can't see a point selling him as it gives the wrong message to new signings

It all depends on how long he wants to stay in Europe and keep breaking records. I wouldn’t be surprised if the club offered him another extension, to be honest, but I think the gap between what the club will pay in 2 years and what Saudi clubs can offer will probably end up being too big.

In my mind there's no reason whatsoever he cannot go to Saudi at 36 or 37 and finish his career with more money than he'll know what do with. Only Mo knows how long he wants to keep playing the game for, but there's nothing physically holding him back.

Liverpool will have to plan for life without Mohamed Salah next season despite the fact the Egyptian has signed a new two-year deal.

This is because of the month-long Africa Cup of Nations which runs from December 21 until January 18.

If Egypt were to do well, that would see him miss a fair chunk of Liverpool games. Going off this term's fixtures, missing those dates would have seen Salah absent for eight matches - probably 10 if you factor in that he would be arriving a few days earlier and having some time off after.

There are a lot of 'ifs', 'buts' and 'maybes' involved in this but given the star man will be absent for such a significant part of the season, it feels like a must for Liverpool to sign a capable deputy this summer.

Federico Chiesa has not yet lived up to the bill in that regard.

Salah is likely to continue playing international football at least until he makes the move to Saudi, because it will serve as a powerful negotiating tool for his agent. His ongoing status as a key figure for Egypt, combined with his profile as arguably the most famous Muslim and African footballer in history, will allow his agent to demand truly astronomical wages rather than 'just' obscene wages.

Plus I think he'll just want to. It sucks for it and underlines the importance of starting the league strong and building a gap because we should plan for a drop off in form. The pattern needs appreciating by the club.

Is this your opinion?

I could be way off, but I don't think Mo has any interest in Saudi whatsoever.
