Exactly so it was either Chiesa or Rio. Since we dont have that many homegrown players.
U21s who have trained with the team for 2 years don't have to be registered. So Rio isn't eligible there either. However, players like Bajcetic, Nyoni and Danns are.
Isn't it that Rio is homegrown so allowed in regardless. For Chiesa to play, it'd mean one of the others would lose out.

Ngumoha just turned 17. So he's currently neither home- or association-trained and he can't be in List B either cause he hasn't been with us for two years.

A bit harsh IMO. Whatever the state of the squad, we wouldn't be using him at all if we didn't think he was making at least some worthwhile contribution.
