Surely we should go all in for Alvarez? Scores all types of goals, works hard, Prem proven, good injury record, can cover other positions, World Cup winner, buddies with Macca etc.

To be fair, this Sancet guy does look good in that video but there's always a chance of an Aspas I'm afraid of. They're the same age and on the same number of goals unless the internet's lying to me btw

Agreed on this. I think he brings a known quality which in certain positions and transfers we need to be going after. We are after all entering this transfer window as the reigning PL CHAMPIONS

I've maintained that we're going to get a max of 4 players. Striker, 2 full backs, maybe a versatile winger/10. Outgoings I don't believe will change this
 
What we mustn't do at any price is slide back to the days when we compromised on quality because of cost. Klopp kicked that approach into the long grass when he arrived and we're back on our perch because of it. If they're not of the right standard they'll be a waste of money, however cheap they may be. That's why we didn't sign anyone last summer and we're still on the brink of No.20.

Strand Larsen is a really good all round player. Target man but with pace and extremely good movement.
He's got a bit of everything. Think he'll have a very good season next year for Wolves.
 
I think this year could be our best window where we address the defence and add pace to our attack.

He is an AM but has so few assists, does that not worry people? Also like Cherki he only covers 3.26 KM per match.
If we are looking at AM then may I suggest Ismael Saibari. Covers an average of 7.5km per game. Height 1.85m or 6.1. 9 Goals and 11 Assists in Eredivisie. To Speed 31km/h plus @moron

His team mate (for Morocco) Youssef En-Nesyri looks like a useful squad option. I don't think I have seen a player score as many goals with his head as this guy

I know, but thats where the squad comes in to play. What UEFA should be doing during AFCON is have European Qualifiers and Friendlies. The bigger question is are these two good enough to improve the squad? I doubt either are on the list.
