This week's games

Palace trailing 0-1 to Burnley. I'm rooting for Burnley to get a win here, as it disrupts Palace's escape to safety and leaves them having to take points from their remaining games against Man City, Hull and Man United coming up.

That is if Swansea can take a point or more at Old Trafford tomorrow, which would leave the Swans with 6 (or 4) points behind Palace, but with less daunting opponents in their games left - they play Everton, Sunderland and West Brom.

And of course, Boro play City, and as luck would have it, that game starts later than the Swansea - Man Utd game. The Teessiders are almost dead and buried, but hopefully they'll make a final struggle - their hope is to leapfrog Swansea and try to catch Hull, so if Swansea doesn't beat Man Utd, then they're still in with a slim chance.

So I'm pulling for a Burnley win, followed by a Swansea draw/win and Boro win. Hope these shits do something right for once instead of just taking points from us.

Of course, we have to beat Watford.
^ Double like++ after Swansea result!

Is Downing on the take? Twice now he's launched crosses into orbit directed at no one in particular to interrupt a good spell of Boro play.

2-2 for Arsenal-Spurs and a 0-0 or 1-1 bore draw for Everton-Chelsea would be great. Keeps Arsenal pegged back but eager, so they'll push against Man Utd, and cock teases Spurs so they have to keep working hard in the next couple of weeks. Just enough for them to blow out Man Utd at White Hart Lane and then concede the title after that. And Chelsea can't cruise to the title and win it too easily yet. Misery all around.
