Is it possible for you to hold some form of dialogue with someone without point scoring, Ryan?

Brendan can't even read that*

*Im well aware that he's probably sat at a computer somewhere frothing at the gash at your comment.

He's probably listening to Ryan's voicemails, never mind reading his posts on here
hahahaha.

Every year we see a few players go from being good solid players to being stars in the Premier League, some of them unexpectedly. One of the better examples I can think of in recent years is the development of Nasri at Arsenal.

Who would you think are the candidates around the league for that sort of improvement this year ?

Does anyone reckon Andy Carroll could do it ?
I wasn't surprised that Nasri became such a key player last season, he was the young player of the year in France before he signed for Arsenal and always had lots of ability. I really hope that Carroll can get it right as he does have potential.

I would say Carroll will be a failure.

Yes.

Aquilani if he can get game time and stay injury free will be a revelation in a pass and move side.

Carrol needs to buckle down and work harder to get into the team. Kuyt may shut him out. If he shows the right attitude, he could make a massive impact.

Lucas will continue his improvement and cement his place in the team.

This (except the nonsens about Lucas).

Ramires was very very good at times last season. He originally looked lightweight and ordinary but he has shown bursts of pace, balls of steal and is always available for the ball.

Kyle Walker can fly down the right. He was a joy to watch in the u-21's and at times for Villa last season. Did Spurs take him back for next season? Def going straight into my fantasy football team.

Fuck it, Chuck Adam will be great for us and prove to be a bargain at seven million.

Ramsey seems to 'have it' and will push hard for a starting place next season at Arsenal. It will be interesting to see what happens in their midfield with Song, Ramsey, Wilshire and Cesc all worthy of a place. Don't know much about Gervinho but I bet he'll perform straight away and Wenger will have done it again.

They are all pretty obvious selections but I confident all will do well.

Danny Rose looked (too) good for Spurs at the end of the season. Could be a surprise.

I thought Ramire was shite last season. Agree with everything else you've posted though.

If Aquaman actually get's a chance to play, he'll have a pivotal role in our team this season. I think he's that good.

Can't help but think Aquilani might still leave us.

Yep. Another 6 weeks until the transfer window closes too. I think it'd be a shame to let him go...why not give him til January at least?

He's just off the back of a relatively injury free season and has a point to prove. I was surprised to learn he's only 27, thought he was a few years older.

I say give the Italian a chance 😀

I think the majority of the posters on this forum agree with us regarding Aquilani but I've heard that Dalglish isn't too keen on having him in the squad. Might just be rumours though. He was wearing Gerrard's shirt number during the Asia tour. I'll start believing that he's staying when he's assigned a number.

its kind of annoying that people seem to be jizzing like its their birthday over aqua recently, he was decent for us, and better in a poncy league, people have him down as some kind of powerhouse now for some reason and i just cant understand it
