Transfer rumours

That'd be a huge upgrade by United
It'd also be nuts by Eriksen unless he was pretty sure Pochetino will be there shortly & believed he'd only be out of the CL for a season.

I reckon we'll see a few players that just scream that they're coming in ahead of Pochetino taking the managers job around Christmas when the hobbit gets the boot.

Some rumours in the Italian press placing Lovren in Milan next season. Any truth behind it?

Paul Joyce has said that AC Milan's sporting director is a big fan, but no contact has been made, Liverpool's asking price is £25m.

As per French outlet Le Progres, the Reds could try their luck once again this year after missing out on a deal to sign Fekir during the previous summer window.
The report claims that initial contact about a deal has been made, but the club are not willing to meet the €50 million price tag.

Fekir’s failed move to Anfield was one of the stories of the summer last year, with the Frenchman coming ever so close to joining the Reds.
To this day, it has not been confirmed as to why the move fell through after reports emerged on social media that appeared to show the player in Liverpool colours, taking part in official interviews for the club’s TV channel.
Fekir has reportedly been told he will be able to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer but Jean Michel Aulas has proven to be a tricky negotiator in the past, meaning any deal will be difficult for the Reds to pull off.

I've never seen such hype over a CB before, let alone one playing in Holland. It'll be interesting to see how he copes. It's a ridiculous amount of money to be paying a 19 year old and it could well back fire.

PSG must have a higher wage bill than Man City with a much lower turnover. Is FFP rules slightly different in France?

If I were him, I would choose Barcelona over PSG easily, even for less money. You want to be playing in a real team with football traditions, not an oil mirage that loses in 1/4 every time.

He's 29/30 right? He doesn't have the time to wait and will likely see it that way. He'll be off somewhere where he's guaranteed a shot at the league and CL.

Atletico Madrid's chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin has confirmed France striker Antoine Griezmann, 28, will move to Barcelona this summer. (Sport)

Man United doing an Everton and trying to appease their fans by saying they're going to hijack the deal at the 11th hour.

Hmm. Sign for Barcelona, or play in the Europa League for Hobbit Gunnar Solskjaer?

Gonna take another Sanchez-level offer to bridge that gap.

Barcelona ‘lose patience’ with Ousmane Dembélé over off-field issues

Barcelona have finally lost patience with Ousmane Dembélé and will apparently listen to offers for the Frenchman this summer.
Dembélé has been beset with injury problems and off-field issues since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

It was hoped that the youngster would be the long-term replacement for Neymar in Barça’s front three, however the 22-year-old’s lifestyle seems to have gotten in the way of his development.
Dembélé has been warned several times by the club about his marathon video game sessions, and on dozens of occasions has turned up late for training.
A story in AS has revealed that the management gave the World Cup winner his final warning in the week running up to the Copa del Rey final.

And yet still, Dembélé was late on two more occasions ahead of the game against Valencia.
Although aware of his immense talent, Barcelona have now had enough of the former Rennes man, and will consider offers this summer of over €120m
