Well, that is pretty much what we have said about refs over the years so now we get that one right at least.
Some people might say your obsession with Henderson is bordering on a mental illness of some sort.

I thought the plan was for referees and assistants to be seriously physically fit? There are still refs in the Premier League who carry a fair bit of timber and struggle to keep up with the play in an era of ultra-fast counter attacks. The state of him/her - shouldn't be reffing at any level except Barclays' walking football.
I hope it doesn't. Those cold windy nights in Stoke desperately need some entertainment.

I'm all for people expressing themselves, and fair dues to him/her for doing just that. However, and I'm not normally one to judge (each to their own and all that) there seems to be a weight issue, I can't see how this person is considered fit enough to referee a football match.
Which is what I said. At any level, it's a bit of a joke, these days, to have someone in that condition lolloping around the pitch.
Sorry Macca, I missed your post. Yeah, professional referees should be required to have a certain standard of fitness.
