Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out for "a few weeks" with a knee injury.
The England international suffered the injury during Sunday's 2-0 FA Cup third round win against Arsenal.
"He has a little tear in the lateral ligament of his knee and he will need time to recover," said Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders.
"He had a scan and he will be out for a few weeks, so let's see after that."

So are we going to buy/loan anyone then?

Nope.

With Gomez available, Bradley backing him, I think we're good at right back.
Robbo and Tsimikas will be back at the end of the month.

So, buying someone now for an exorbitant sum might not be necessary.

How does Gomez play LB and RB at the same time though.

Does put some pressure on Bradley for sure, and I guess we will utilize Beck earlier than expected?

We can play yer man Beck at LB with Gomez at RB, or we can continue with Gomez at LB and play Bradley at RB. We also have other lads like Chambers and Scanlon waiting in the wings. Plenty of options. This is what you have academies for.
It's really not mate.

Academies don't serve the purpose of rushing them straight into the XI when half your team is dead, they're there to develop until they're ready (which most will never be for Prem level).....a long old road.

Quansah wouldn't have got a chance to prove he was ready if there wasn't a gap to fill. This is what happens in teams across the country. Bradley was kept this year because we felt he could do a job. Now is his time. Beck has been recalled after being Dundee's best player in the first half of the season. Time to step up lad. So it goes.

Both Bradley and Gomez can come in and play there, no doubt. Its a bigger loss that we wont have him for 4-5 games and he's in great form and arguably one of the top players around in terms of attacking stats. That will be sorely missed.

OK can we drop this academy stuff?
These so called academy players are 20+ years old. They've graduated, they're not playing in the FA youth cup anymore.
Quansah, Bradley, Beck are listed with the first team.
They're basically the same age as Bellingham, it's time for them to prove themselves.
Bradley plays for the NI national team FFS.

Absolutely. Time to step up lads.

Don't want to hear no excuses then why we don't win anything this season.

Saying their the same age as Bellingham means nothing, Bellingham is proven on the World scene, he's played about 100 games more than the 3 combined. Bradley playing for his country means fuck all seeing as the whole NI set up is surrounding by mostly league 1 players.

Fullback has been the position to bed in players in historically too, not only are these lads ready they’re coming into the right spot in the team. Of course fullback isn’t quite what it was when Gerrard and carragher were getting games there but these youngsters genuinely look good.

There is no need to bicker about it, it's not as if we have a choice.

Bradley or Beck, take your pick.

Yes, but they're playing against "men" now as opposed to boys.
Bradley played for Bolton
Quansah for Bristol R
Beck just came back from the Dundee

It's time to prove themselves. A league cup semi-final might not be the most ideal game, but we need them now.
