Post Match UCL Internazionale Milan (A) 0-1 9th December 8pm

We did an Italian job on them.

I might be alone in thinking that was a stone wall pen.

You can't pull shirts regardless of the fall.

Guarantee if he doesn't go down, it won't have been given.

But a pull is a pull. The law is quite clear.

Let’s just forget all the other great passes he makes.

Don’t get me wrong, I expected more in the way of goals and assists, but this guy is under the microscope a little too much for my liking.
I want him to succeed so badly and I thought he looked good when he came on. But he's got to make those passes, he's good enough.

It's no surprise that in Europe against a one-paced Inter, when he came on, he was gliding/driving past players; looked class. But in the PL, he's struggled and gets brushed off the ball easily.

The boss is in charge still, whatever about Mo's issue, if the whole dressing room is lost we'd be in huge trouble.

Feels good to play ok and win.

Took Slot a while to see we needed Bradders and Wirtz, but bless him, he got there in the end...

Love watching Wirtz. His vision and weight of pass is exceptional. Except that relatively easy through ball for tekkers who would have been 1 on 1 🙄

There was some weird commentary on it on CBS, where they were debating if the shirt pull was what made him fall, as if that would be the deciding factor...

I agree, it should be a penalty, but don't think it ever is, we got lucky.

When we were losing stupid open games, I said we need to be willing to get some boring scoreless draws and go from there.

I've no clue whether we can build from this, but we are 100% right to be willing to be more negative and stable for a while, and that definitely doesn't include Salah.

That was dull as dishwater which I suppose turned out to be a relaxing watch, thank God for the gift because this game could've been played till Christmas 2026 and it still would've been 0-0.

Defensively never in trouble - which is a major plus and what you get with 11 players. Inter were unbeaten at home in the CL since 2022 (22 matches? I missed it). Just about deserved the win.
