Might be interesting to see where Luis plays, with him taking a more wide role last week allowing Borini to stay central. If he's on the right then things could be interesting against the TWAT.

-----------------Reina-------------------
Kelly------Skrtel---Agger---Johnson
-------Henderson---Allen--------------
---------------Shelvey------------------
Gerrard------Suarez------Sterling--

What I think Rodgers will play

Reina
Kelly
Skrtel
Agger
Johnson
Allen
Gerrard
Shelvey
Suarez
Borini
Sterling

What I wouldnt mind seeing:

Reina
Wisdom (played well against Young Boys, would give his confidence a boost)
Skrtel
Agger
Johnson
Allen
Sahin
Shelvey
Gerrard
Suarez
Sterling

Bench
Jones, Coates, Kelly, Henderson, Suso, Assaidi, Borini

Probably, we need to tighten the midfield though, I'm yet to be convinced that anything from Sahin, Allen, Shelvey and Gerrard is a good combination. None of them have the discipline to sit and hold infront of the back four. We look piss weak and teams just rip through us.

Gerrard for Borini with Borini central and Suarez against the detestable cunt and that would be my team too Mark, Gerrard needs a kick up the arse, he's been awful lately.

This is very worrying indeed. For some reason these guys look like jogging back leaving big open spaces for the opposition to play in. The midfield and CDs need to close those rooms together.

I don't think leaving him out of the game vs United is the right one to give him said kick up the arse though.

I agree on our lack of discipline but I also don't rate Hendo in that role either. I'd like to see:

-----------------Reina-----------------
Johnson--Skrtel--Agger--Enrique
----------------Allen--------------------
--------Shelvey--Gerrard------------
Suarez----------------------Sterling
----------------Borini------------------

I'd probably not start Sterling in this one despite him looking awesome so far. It's a major fixture and no need to push the kid in to soon for these kind of games.

I'd defo start Shelvey mind as he's obviously ready.

Remember how Downing shat himself last year against United? I'd much rather play Sterling and I think Rodgers will.

You'd rather play Downing? Sterling played against City and was one of our best players. He's an obvious starter, for me.

He would be for me as well judged alone by his performances I just think now would probably be the right time to give him a little breather. He's 17, which is incredible, with his displays so far in mind, I'm just worried that he could be pushed a bit too hard.

If say we lose again and he's playing he could be in danger of losing confidence and would start to feel the pressure. Perhaps it's a stupid worry and if he's mentally very strong it won't mean that much either.

It's vital we don't overplay him though or burn him out mentally. He's looking a real gem of a player.

He's looked brilliant up until now, in a misfiring team. He seems like a very level-headed boy. There's no reason to assume he's suddenly going to realise the gravity of the situation and fall apart. What's more, I don't think mental fortitude can be viewed like an energy bar in a computer game. You either have it or you don't - it's not suddenly going to run out. Besides, I think you're more likely to damage a player mentally if you drop him for one of the biggest games of the season when he's earned his right to play with some brilliant performances.

I hope you are right.

Talented youngsters being played in teams that are under great pressure and year after year are underpeforming can be a dangerous cocktail is all. Especially if to many are being blooded at the same time.

If Sterling is every bit as great a talent as he seems so far and a grounded lad too he won't be affected much of course, but it's still much to ask of him, week in week out, to make a difference in a senior side being only 17 years old.

It's nothing I can learn Rodgers or anyone else around the team, they know this better than me obviously, I just don't want to see him worn out come December is all.

WTF he's just got his second kid!!!

I take it all back, this kid can cope with pressure and then some..... give him the captaincy!

Don´t worry... We will soon enough pick off him his attacking skill and eagerness... Unitll then we might as well play him 😉

Ferguson's letter to Manu fans to be handed out at turnstiles on Sunday

Alex Ferguson's letter in full...
Dear Supporter,

The great support you gave the team here last season has seen our allocation back up to near-full levels. I want you to continue that progress today.

But today is about much more than not blocking gangways. Today is about thinking hard about what makes United the best club in the world.

Our rivalry with Liverpool is based on a determination to come out on top – a wish to see us crowned the best against a team that held that honour for so long.

It cannot and should never be based on personal hatred. Just 10 days ago, we heard the terrible, damning truth about the deaths of 96 fans who went to watch their team try and reach the FA Cup final and never came back.

What happened to them should wake the conscience of everyone connected with the game.

Our great club stands with our great neighbours Liverpool today to remember that loss and pay tribute to their campaign for justice. I know I can count on you to stand with us in the best traditions of the best fans in the game.

Bib theory: Reina, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Allen, Gerrard, Shelvey, Borini, Suarez, Sterling

Pretty obvious.

However, those who played 90 minutes were given a rest so it's not 100% certain.

isn't skrtel wearing orange in the first pic with spearing? am i selectively colourblind?

EDIT: nevermind the other ones wouldnt load at first, SAFE BLUDD
