so ferguson goes and the football world talks of united struggling and the more it's said the more everyone believes it . The fear factor goes and suddenly teams who previously would have gone in expecting to lose are suddenly up for it . Confidence is everything in football and sport .

haha - thought i jinxed it there , van persie goal ruled out for offside .....but anyway regardless of result here , united lost a fair bit of that fear factor so at least teams don't just roll over like they used to .

when united beat arsenal a few weeks back , the commentator (i'm pretty sure it was martin tyler) was going insanely over the top , banging on how that was moyes 'announcing' himself , united not giving up their title without a fight blah blah . Since then in the league ?..... 2 draws and 2 home defeats on the trot . fuck you tyler !
Unfortunately it also means Newcastle are now moving closer to us. Hard to root for Alan Pardew really. Would've taken a draw.
