United lose, City & Chelsea on the back foot, us winning in grand style... what a season this is turning out to be!

was just thinking the exact same . irony i believe they call it .

Brilliant day for us today. Other than Moyes losing. I'm worried he's gonna fuck it up so bad he gets sacked.

What a most excellent day!

Me too, I desperately want him to still be in the job for a few years and waste loads of money. If he's sacked now he won't have done them enough long-term damage and they could still recover.

but if they miss the CL next season, that's a big fucking hole in the budget

Yea I want them to come 5th, just missing out on 4th on goal difference because of an Ashley Young OG in the last game of the season. I want this to happen every season. I want people to say there are signs of recovery under Moyes and he just needs more time, I want them to say this every summer. He needs more money, they'll say. He just needs one or two more players, they'll say.

Anyone think Assaidi will have a future at Liverpool, or are we likely to cash in, if he has a good season?

Always thought he was allright, think its his defensive side of the game that lets him down but you do see good stuff from him that suggests he does have something to offer.

3 million quid punt anyway, can't complain either way really.

I think if he does impress at Stoke, Rodgers will bring him back and look at him again in pre-season and training, and decide whether to retain or sell him. It'll also depend on the player I guess - he could come back and want assurance of minutes which Rodgers might not be prepared to give, for example.
